Nuthampstead Shooting Ground has been listed as an official Pre-Games Training Camp Site for the 2012 Olympic Games.

 LOCOG is developing an on-line facility in partnersip with VisitBritain, the national tourism agency.  This is a first for any Olympic or Paralympic Organising Committee.  The Guide will allow NOC's (National Olympic Committees)  and NPC's (National Paralympic Committees)  to search for training camps on a sporting and geographical  basis and will be presented to NOC's and NPC's at a series of invitational events during the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games later this year.
